We also have an allocated children's area with swings, secret dens and even a fairy garden! Some of the bushcraft courses are particularly suitable for children and are great fun as well as educational.

The yurts are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 12 years old as there is a king size bed and 2 camp beds, however please contact us if you have any special requirements. We also have cots available.

We have worksheets available for children to get them thinking about nature and to make their time fun as well as being able to learn something too.

Here are some examples: Creepy Crawlies, Wildlife Detectives, Bows and Arrows, Animal Footprints, Wildlife at Night, Boat Making and Racing, River Walking.

The worksheets are a guide so that children are able to use their own imaginations and offer adults a break from thinking of activities. However, we advise that some of the activities are to be supervised by adults and we can take no responsibility for the supervision of children at the site.
