About Us/Guest Comments
Auvergne Naturelle is Robert, Kathryn and our new arrival, baby Daisy. Our love of nature and the outdoors brought us to this beautiful part of France. We wanted to combine our passion and enthusiasm for the area and provide a holiday experience which can be shared by everyone. As the site is small and intimate, consisting of only four yurts, we are able to offer a more personal approach and provide a special holiday to all our guests.
We are committed to protecting the environment around us and intend to have as little impact as possible on this beautiful area. The yurts blend in with the surroundings and are made from ash coppice which is important for the sustainability of the woodland. We have composting toilets which are luxurious but eco-friendly to complement the yurts. The lighting is also low impact so that you can benefit from the stunning night skies with the vast array of stars. We also provide wood from our land for the wood burning stoves to make your nights cosy and warm - we make a small charge which is used for replanting.
The bushcraft courses are ran by Robert who is a qualified instructor, recently completing a course in Sussex, ran by a colleague of Ray Mears. He is passionate and enthusiastic about the area and loves to share his knowledge with others.

"We had a fantastic 10 days in your beautiful yurts, set in fantastic scenery with great food and company. An ideal holiday that we would strongly recommend to anyone wanting a touch of the outdoors and a quiet retreat to get away from it all. Perfect! "

"Brilliant - enjoyed everything - shooting, going down to the river, bushcraft and making fires. Fairy garden was fantastic. Food was really nice as well!"
