We travelled from Northamptonshire via the tunnel and stopped over in Orleans at a Novotel - good stop over if you have children. Very impressed with the yurts, gorgeous location and great facilities - would definitley recommend Kathryn's meals available on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We tried a few of Rob's courses - the bow and arrow one went down very well with Alexander and we also made a spoon. The camp fires in the evening are just lovely and looking at the night sky is something else.
We found a lovely pottery shop in Sembadel. The following places are also worth a visit: Brioude, Le Puy-en-Velay, Lavoute Chilhac and the rest of the Allier Gorges; Blesle and Lavadieu are very pretty French villages.
It was so lovely to lose track of time and what day of the week it was and to totally unwind with this natural setting.
Wishing Kathryn, Rob and Daisy every success with this venture and will not hesitate to recommend to others.
